ICS2 Pre-arrival
What it does
EU ICS2 (Import Control System 2) pre-arrival safety and security declaration support. Starting 2024, all goods entering the EU require advance electronic data for risk analysis before arrival. POTAL helps generate the required data fields for ICS2 compliance.
How to use it
Classify the goods
Ensure all items have accurate HS codes at the 6-digit level or beyond.
Prepare shipment data
Collect shipper, consignee, item descriptions, and routing information.
Generate ICS2 data
POST /api/v1/ics2 with the required fields for pre-arrival declaration.
Submit to customs
Forward the generated data to the EU customs system before goods depart.
